RF Microneedling  is performed in one of our private treatment rooms at VIP Cosmetic Surgery and takes about 30 – 60 minutes to complete. First, a numbing cream will be applied to the treatment area to provide extra comfort. Then, the skin will be cleansed and the microneedling handpiece will be passed over the target area. Once complete, a topical treatment, like PRP (platelet-rich plasma) or a vitamin-infused serum, can be applied to the skin. Lastly, an SPF moisturizer with SPF will be massaged into the treatment zone to nourish and protect the skin.

After your treatment, you can expect your skin to be red and slightly swollen. These side effects are normal and will dissipate over the next few days. It may take around 1 – 2 months as the elastin and collagen supply increases before you notice significant improvements in the appearance and health of your skin.
